Inversion-R v.2 - By UBAD
INVERSION-R v.2 IS HERE!!!
This has been completed on all Inversions purchased after Oct 1, 2015.
If you've ever participated in a race series you understand the importance of your class. When multirotor racing takes off with a sanctioning body, class designations will be a must! One can speculate that "Size" will be a determining factor in classes. So the race will then begin to have the smallest frame with the biggest props.
Big props, small frame! This multirotor supports 6" props on a true 249mm/132g frame. This is not a 250 class frame which measures 260, 270, ...280. This is an actual 249mm from motor to motor.
It's flexible! 6" props, or 5" props - whichever suits your needs. A unique modular arm design allows you an even smaller race classing, using 5" props. Placing the shorter rear arms in a front configuration drops this already small frame down to 227mm. (with 5" prop configuration)
Its inverted! The idea behind its "Inverted" design is to allow a better CG (perfect with a Go-Pro), with a trunk mounted battery and the frame pushed more forward. The center of thrust matches the center of gravity to allow for stable flight characteristics. The body has been decoratively milled for less drag while maintaining rigidity and strength.
Product Strength Gurantee:
We don't want the pilots of our airframes to fear having to break parts. UBAD wants you to release your wild side and we live by "Flying it like we stole it!" (never know maybe did). We offer a limited lifetime parts replacements with the frame's carbon fiber parts. (excludes any electronic components, i.e., PDB, LEDs, etc.). Because we can't condone abusive behavior and neglect (concrete will always win), any claim will be investigated before replacement parts are granted (concrete voids your claim). Of course if you do feel abusive which we hope you won't, you can of course still purchase crash replacement parts on a case by case basis. The aluminum hardware and bobbins were designed to be breaking points in order to save the other components. This is the reason extra parts were included with the initial kit.
